A little inspired by Andy Warhol
Just in case you dont know who is this guy, here is a little write up about him from wikipedia.
“Andrew Warhola (August 6, 1928 – February 22, 1987), more commonly known as Andy Warhol, was an American painter, printmaker, andfilmmaker who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. “
I am not someone who is really into Art movements but his name just pop out in my mind so i decided to wiki about him and i came across this whole chunk of words that he said which really touch my heart.
“What’s great about this country is that America started the tradition where the richest consumers buy essentially the same things as the poorest. You can be watching TV and see Coca Cola, and you know that the President drinks Coca Cola, Liz Taylor drinks Coca Cola, and just think, you can drink Coca Cola, too. A coke is a coke and no amount of money can get you a better coke than the one the bum on the corner is drinking. All the cokes are the same and all the cokes are good. Liz Taylor knows it, the President knows it, the bum knows it, and you know it.”
This still applies to today;s context and i thought its a little comforting to read this when you are living in a world when the richer gets richer and the poor gets poorer.
But still i am not a coke lover. Just want everyone reading my blog to get inspire just like i do.
